Recycling Beyond RecycleEasy

RecycleEasy wants to provide comprehensive curbside recycling.  However, there may always be some limitations on items we can accept.  We will try to provide a resource guide for other outlets for materials we cannot accept.  This page will also provide information on general sustainable community resources.  If you have a great local resource that we should highlight, send it along and we will add it to our site!

Electronics and Batteries:

• AERC – Ashland, Virginia – Provides a responsible outlet for business electronic waste, fluorescent bulbs, batteries, and more.
• Best Buy: Consumer Electronics and Batteries.

Battery Recycling:

Florescent and Compact Fluorescent:

Used Clothing:

• Cause Worthy Clothes:  Local resource for all your used clothing, shoes, belts, etc
• Goodwill

Concrete, Asphalt, Wood, Clean Sheetrock Waste (Compost)

• Royal Oak Farm:  - This is an incredible local composting resource.

Metals (We will take it, but if you have big stuff you can make some bucks $$)
